LAKE PLACID - Now there is no excuse not to get in shape. John Honeywell, owner/operator of Rezultz Fitness on Interlake Boulevard in Lake Placid, is offering patrons the opportunity to raise money for breast cancer awareness by jogging on its new, pink treadmill.
“We’ll be donating ten cents for every mile logged”, said Honeywell. All during the month of October, the hot pink treadmill will be available for unlimited use by anyone who wants to drop by and run or walk for the cure, members and non members alike. Non-members need to come between 9 a.m. and noon and 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. Monday through Friday while the fitness center is staffed. Members, who have access to the pass key system, can come anytime.
The machine is a Life Fitness model 95TI, which includes 26 different programs including military fitness tests, explained Honeywell. The model also features a shock absorption system, ergonomically correct handlebars and non–slip siderails.
Honeywell got the idea from another company who was doing it, and he decided to offer the same thing in Lake Placid.
